Colour Scheme

Spurred on by French examples of ‘la Communale’, community-based, whole-place activity, we have worked at Whitehill & Bordon to identify elements of community relevance and significance that allow the development to more readily integrate with the existing place.

We invited Sophie Smallhorn (the artist behind the inspired colour ‘wrap’ of the 2012, Populous Olympic Stadium), to develop a town-wide colour scheme for the project, drawn from military history and regimental colours, local geology and woodland references, and apply this to doors, windows (and even bollards!) to create something uniquely ‘Bordon’.
