BCP Interim Regeneration Strategy

Off the back of associations developed through our work with Reading Borough Council on the Reading Town Centre Strategy, we were approached by BCP Future Places to support Prior+Partners on the development of an Interim Regeneration Strategy for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

UPL provided thematic advice and inputted into the structure of the strategy, working to communicate a unified vision from a myriad of existing BCP reports and objectives, focusing on people, places, prosperity and planet.

We identified 6 key themes common to previous work and which could form a platform for future regeneration and funding eligibility including requirements that economic growth should be:

• Sustainable
• Inclusive
• Beautiful
• Connected
• Efficient, and
• Healthy
