Green Belt Urban Extension

Following on from instructions received on sites in the Northeast, UPL was approached to formulate an early site promotion and vision for land in North Yorkshire.

Heritage factors and Green Belt status required a landscape sensitive approach that carefully considered the local landscape context, key views and enclosure, to arrive at a design rationale that integrated proposals into the local countryside character. Our masterplan concept sought to further enhance extant features, rendering the development site a natural extension to the settlement.
